@fishhouse360 We use a Kinetic #towrope to pull our hard side #fishhouse on to #earlyice It puts distance between the pulling machine and #fishhouse so there is better weight distribution over a larger area. @Ambush ♬ original sound - FishHouse360
I have enjoyed the latest tow rope advance, the Kinetic Recovery Rope. My first experience with one was when my truck drifted in on the ice and I called to get a tug and they showed up with this weird looking green rope. I'd never seen one before. I was expecting to crawl under the pick up in the show and hook up chains like usual but he threw one loop over my ball hitch and connected the other to his. I hopped in the driver seat an I barely felt the tug but I was moving. After he got me out of the drift I had to look at that rope and get one for myself. We've since found multiple uses for it and my favorite was using it to pull our skid house onto the lake during early ice. Early ice obviously is the prime time for watching your weight and speed and I thought if we could put 20 foot between our pull vehicle and the skid house we'd really be distributing the weight much better instead of having the weight all in one place. It worked great and felt a little safer doing it that way too.
